Get your garden ready for summer 2022

It’s never too early to start thinking about how you want your garden to look for summer. Here are a few tips to get you started on the right track:

  1. Decide what type of plants you want to grow. Do you want annuals or perennials? What type of flowers do you want to include? Consider all of these aspects before getting into the garden planning process.
  2. Once you have an idea of the types of plants you want to grow, start mapping out where they will go. You’ll need to take into account the amount of sun and shade each area gets throughout the day. Make sure to leave enough space between each plant so they have room to grow.
  3. Start pre buying all the of the items you need . This includes soil, mulch, rocks, and anything else you might need to make your garden look perfect.
  4. Get rid of any weeds in the area where you’ll be planting. Weeds compete with your plants for resources and can quickly take over a garden if left unchecked.
  5. Add some mulch to the garden beds to make sure your garden stays healthy and looking great all summer long.
  6. If you’re adding new plants to your garden, take the time to properly prepare the soil so they can thrive. This might include adding compost or other nutrients to help nourish the plants as they grow.
  7. Spend some time each week caring for your garden to keep it in good condition and ready for summer. This might include weeding, watering plants, or pruning any overgrown branches to keep your garden looking neat and tidy.
  8. Invest in some good landscaping tools, like a wheelbarrow or garden hose, to make caring for your garden easier and more efficient.
